01Practice

The platform, the pipeline, and the people who keep them.

We embed principal engineers in startup teams that are becoming scale-ups. They pair, they teach, and they leave the system in a state the permanent team can operate.

  1. 01

    Constraints

We start by watching how software gets to production. Where it waits, where it is thrown over a wall, and where one team is the bottleneck. That look is short. It decides where an engineer will actually help.

  2. 02

    Embed

Principal engineers join the team that is stuck. They pair. The point of the pairing is that your people can repeat the work after we leave, including the unglamorous parts: permissions, pipelines, and the on-call path.

  3. 03

    Ship

In parallel we put in the shared pieces that stop the queue from coming back. A cluster the next team can use. A pipeline with a quality gate. A component library so a new interface is not a new agency.

  4. 04

    Hand over

We phase out as owners are named. Runbooks stay. When the gap is headcount, we help interview and test candidates, then leave. The engagement is finished when the team can run the lifecycle without us.

02Areas

Platform

Kubernetes, cloud accounts, and service mesh. Shared infrastructure a product team can change without opening a ticket.

Delivery

Pipelines, automation, and self-healing systems. The path from merge to production, owned by the people who wrote the code.

Capability

Pairing and workshops in Go, Kafka, and the platform itself. The engagement ends when we are unnecessary.

Kubernetes · Cloud · CI/CD · Terraform · Service mesh · Go · Kafka · Self-healing systems
